Name: I’m Kate, named after Big Nose Kate, Doc Holiday’s lady. She was her own, strong woman. Me, too.
Hometown: I’m a California born gal, but my heart is in Arizona.
Age: I will be turning 12 in January.
Favorite brand of kibble: Open Farm Beef with Ancient Grains.
Favorite people food: What? There’s a difference? Mom makes my dinners with chicken or beef and lots of veggies. Sweet potatoes are yummy!
Favorite toy: I LOVE TOYS—stuffed toys, balls and those bumper things.
Favorite outdoor activity: Playing ball or bumper fetch with my new little brother, Cody. Sometimes I hang out on the patio with Chili, the horse. I love him. He shares his carrots.
Favorite indoor activity: I love to play with toys and check out the bags Mom brings home from Costco and the market for good stuff. Sleeping or watching critters on TV is always good. Watching Cody chase the vacuum is fun too.
Favorite nap spot: Anywhere I feel like it! The couch is good, but in summer it’s the tile floor.
Fitness regimen: Playing ball and taking walks.
Describe your perfect canine pal: My new little brother. Mom went to Woofstock and brought him home from a rescue. He’s crazy, but I like playing with him. I taught him how to fetch a ball.
Describe your perfect day: A nice breakfast, play ball with Cody, a nap and a walk. Afternoons I nap, have a snack, then check out the perimeter. I can’t let a new or unique smell go undetected! Seeing my neighbor Heidi is always great. After dinner, Cody and I share an apple with Chili, take a walk and settle in for the evening and a nice brushing. Life is good.
